From a focused assessment to application development and systems integration, our client work starts with a defined need and agreed deliverables.

We establish scope, review points and handover requirements at the outset. Ownership, licensing and ongoing support are defined in the engagement terms.

What an engagement can deliver

Assess and plan: An assessment of existing systems, options with trade-offs, and a roadmap that puts the next decisions in order.
Build and integrate: A custom application, a connected workflow or an interface that lets existing systems exchange the information your team needs.

Executive leadership — Chief Executive Officer
Sideband’s work with Health Futures includes executive leadership through Ian Millar’s role as Chief Executive Officer. Leading the organization brings together business direction, healthcare sector knowledge and technology delivery, connecting the company’s priorities with the needs of the organizations it serves.
At the leadership level, the focus is on how the business and its technology practice work together: setting direction, aligning priorities and guiding an architecture-first approach to healthcare modernization. This connects organizational decisions with the software, integration and data capabilities needed to address real operational challenges.
Health Futures is a Canadian healthcare technology company combining enterprise architecture, custom software, systems integration and applied AI. Its work spans technology roadmaps, healthcare interoperability, workflow automation and intelligent document processing, helping healthcare organizations modernize established systems and put their information to practical use.
This experience brings an executive perspective to Sideband’s wider work. Technology decisions sit alongside business priorities, delivery responsibilities and the people who will use the result. The aim is to connect a clear organizational direction with practical implementation, from defining the need through to guiding the work that addresses it.

EchoTrace Academy

Learning technology

Developed in house by Sideband

An online, self-serve learning platform being developed for law enforcement and investigators working with mobile phone, carrier, cloud and app evidence. Part of the wider EchoTrace initiative, the Academy turns specialist investigative knowledge into structured, case-based learning.

Sideband’s work brings together learning-platform architecture, software development, curriculum design and technical reference resources. Fictional investigations unfold step by step, helping learners interpret evidence and decide what to do next.

EchoTrace

Technical education and investigative technology for practitioners working with digital evidence. EchoTrace brings together structured learning, reference resources and tools that support careful interpretation of technical records.

EchoTrace is in active development and is not yet generally available.
